MASBO Professional Development Activities
These half- to full-day luncheon meetings held at locations throughout Massachusetts provide presentations on important current topics as well as opportunities for discussion with other school business officials.
Peter DeRoeve, Past President of MASBO, publishes a bi-monthly newsletter which is distributed to the membership. The newsletter is a timely publication and boasts of cutting-edge information, articles written by members, job vacancies, meeting schedules, announcements, and an ongoing array of helpful information aimed at assisting the membership.
The MASBO Trade Show, which takes place each Spring, has nearly 50 vendor associates who join a variety of vendors in an annual exhibit showcasing the most current products and services available to school business officials.
The Law Institute is a full day of legal analyses and updates of recent court rulings on pertinent laws relating to school business management. MASBO's legal counsel also updates business officials with current and pending legislation and its impact on school administration.
The Fall Institute is a full day workshop based on a single theme and provides opportunities for Vendor Affiliates to Exhibit.
This three-day conference is held each Spring and features recognized authorities with lectures and discussions on timely topics. It is the Annual Meeting of the membership
